Marcelo Radulovich: voice, various instruments, production

Born in Santiago, Chile, raised in Costa Rica and California, Marcelo is a musician / multimedia artist / producer currently residing in beautiful Cardiff, CA, where he explores the fringes of art and continues to refine his first love, songwriting.

Long active in southern California, Marcelo has recorded and produced numerous CDs under his name as well as collaborated with creative players in the area, for a full discography please visit: CDs.

Marcelo has performed and / or collaborated with Me Me the Moth (Neil Carlill), Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Dethklok), David J (Bauhaus, Love & Rockets), japanese artist Haco, Trummerflora, Merry Go Down, The Playground Slap and others, as well as shared the stage with acts like Tool, Ministry, Adrian Belew and Midnight Oil.

Marcelo's album Dear Annex features guest appearances by Mike Keneally (guitar), Chris Conner (trumpet & vocals), Michael Dessen (trombone), DJ Tenshun (turntables) and some dada poetry by Marcelo's partner in Me Me the Moth, Neil Carlill. Scheduled release date is 1/1/11.

New version of last year's Summer in Winter album, remixed and repolished will be available in iTunes, Amazon and other retailers on 1/11/11. These two new releases mark the launch of Titicacaman Records, which will be unleashing many projects from the Titicacaman Studio hard drives.

Live Performance:

The laptop holds beats, song beds and samples which Marcelo triggers and manipulates with the midi controller, the AirSynth and AirFX are the lead instruments and add a touch of the surreal as the hand movements trigger strange sounds from the air, the microphone projects Marcelo's growly and expressive voice. All these components are run through effects into the mixer, making for a self contained setup which only requires stereo inputs from the house. Highly entertaining, unusual and dramatic (read a review) the show also includes Marcelo's video work (when fitting the space).

Comfortable playing in a museum or a bar, Marcelo has performed at many venues in the San Diego / LA areas (The Ruby Room, MCA, Sushi, The Casbah, RedCat, Del Mar Fair, The Beauty Bar...), toured various states in the U.S., performed in Japan, Hong Kong, Mexico and Canada.
